The MFG-PL15 Panel PC is designed for the most demanding human machine interface applications. It is ideal for HMI in food production, with a rugged IP65 panel enclosure that allows the system to be protected against the buildup of airborne particulates and splashing liquids, making it ideal for applications where it may need to be regularly washed clean, including food production or petroleum refining. The included IP65-rated I/O cables for an AC adapter, 2 RS-232 COM ports, 1 Gb LAN port, and USB can all be securely locked in place to prevent disconnection.
The 5-wire resistive touch screen allows the Panel PC to be operated even while wearing gloves, an important safety and hygiene feature in food production environments or hazardous material handling applications. The 15" display supports 1024 x 768 resolution for interface-intensive applications that may require a full on-screen keyboard.
The MFG-PL15 features the Intel Core i5-3337U Ivy Bridge processor and HM76 chipset, which consume less than 20 watts of power while handling processor-intensive applications, including HD video, and supports the most demanding HMI tasks.
