Logic Supply Be an Extrovert Contest

Winning projects will receive free prototyping hardware equipped with Extrovert 4G LTE technology.

MAY 9, 2017 (SOUTH BURLINGTON, VT) - Industrial PC manufacturer Logic Supply (www.onlogic.com) is on the hunt for innovators utilizing 4G cellular connectivity to create next generation devices -- and they're giving away free computer hardware to some of the best! The company will award free Extrovert 4G-equipped Logic Supply industrial computers to as many as five of the most exciting project proposals submitted to their "Be an Extrovert" contest, beginning today.

"Effective wireless communication is an absolutely vital component of today's increasingly connected, IoT landscape," says Logic Supply Senior Product Manager Murat Erdogan. "We created our Extrovert 4G LTE modems to enable hardware users to harness that connectivity easily and cost effectively, and we're excited to see what they can do with it."

To win a customized industrial computer valued at up to $2,000, participants can submit their project pitches at www.onlogic.com/be-an-extrovert. Logic Supply will review the proposals and choose winners based on the following criteria:

  • Quality and completeness of the pitch
  • Use of Extrovert 4G LTE Technology
  • Potential impact on a given industry, market or society as a whole
  • Special consideration will be given to projects in IoT, Digital Signage, Physical or Information Security, Building Automation, Manufacturing or Communications

Winners will work with a Logic Supply Hardware Specialist to select and configure their system to meet the specific needs of their project from among the company’s extensive product line. Winning projects will also be profiled on the Logic Supply website, blog (The I/O Hub) and social media channels.

Helping to empower IoT innovators and streamline the complex 4G certification process, the Extrovert line of modems connects Logic Supply industrial computers to the 4G LTE network easily, securely and cost effectively. Extrovert technology eliminates the need for tamper-prone dongles and external devices, while offering a solution approved by the PTCRB and GCF governing bodies and pre-certified to operate on the Verizon and AT&T networks. This saves end users from having to spend up to $50,000 and months of development time to individually certify their particular 4G-connected device.
