Multi-CEC Functionality

Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) allows digital signage users to control certain features of their displays directly through the media player. The CL210 employs our patent pending multi-CEC functionality. This lets users control the power functions of multiple displays at the same time. Simply turn on the CL210 and your screens will also power up. You can even program a delay to ensure that the system has booted and media is being displayed before the displays power on.

4G Connectivity

In addition to standard WiFi connectivity, an optional 4G upgrade allows the CL210 to easily connect to the cloud from almost any location. Additionally, the system boasts dual LAN ports. These enable ease of connectivity to multiple networks without the need for a separate cellular gateway.

Reliability

Digital signage solutions are by nature mission critical. Failures can result in expensive downtime or frustrating system replacements. First and foremost, the CL210 has a completely solid-state construction. This means that the CL210 has no moving parts. In addition to the benefit of silent operation, this eliminates two of the most common failure points in media players – the fan and the hard drive. Not only is the CL210 fanless, it is also ventless. This protects the system from exposure to the dust and other airborne particulate that is common in many environments and Kiosk enclosures. Additionally, the CL210 is housed in a durable aluminum chassis, providing both superior component protection and effective passive cooling.

Every surface of the CL210 is designed to dissipate heat while offering maximum EMC immunity to RF and ESD events.  The device’s exacting tolerances enhance ingress protection greatly reducing ill effects of dust transported corrosive substances over time.
