The SolidLogic GS-LCD-1 fanless system is a versatile and ruggedized PC. It is designed especially for applications where safety and security are a concern. This system has an integrated 4x20 character LCD display (reversible) with a 6-button keypad and 4 status LEDs enabling the system to operate without a monitor. Fanless systems are ideal in environments where dust, dirt, and grease predominate. This system works great for appliance computing and remote deployments. Please note: The VIA USB wireless module does not function correctly under the Ubuntu platform. Please choose the Qcom version if running Ubuntu. For more information, click here. The integrated CrystalFontz CFA635-TMF is a STN negative Blue display with 4x20 characters, 4 bi-color LEDs and a 6-button keypad. For details, documentation and drivers of the CFA635, see the CrystalFontz Web site. If the standard "Build and Test" option is selected, please allow 3–5 business days for completion before shipment date. Systems that are assembled by Logic Supply are subject to an industry standard restocking fee of 15% if returned.
*If you do not order the optional power button, you will need to initially turn on the system via the jumper on the power header. Thereafter, the BIOS can be configured to start the system when power is applied, or to wake on the system through keyboard/mouse. Please note that in Serener cases, the mainboard fan and heat sink are removed and replaced with a heat pipe in order to create a completely fanless unit. Note: Some of the available mainboards for this system have 1 IDE port. If you install an IDE flash module into a mainboard with only one port, you will not be able to connect any other IDE devices (i.e., HDD or second HDD).
