The GD-L01 is perfect for use as a media center or a set-top box. Fanless systems can operate in environments where dust, dirt, or even grease predominates.

Please note that in Serener cases, the mainboard fan and heat sink are removed and replaced with a heat pipe in order to create a completely fanless unit

Note: Some of the available mainboards for this system have 1 IDE port. If you install an IDE flash module into a mainboard with only one port, you will not be able to connect any other IDE devices (i.e., CD-ROM, HDD, etc.).
