The Emphase SFMH20I direct-plug SATA flash module is an innovative solid state device that opens up a new range of possibilities for media storage. It is a high-performance, compact flash module that plugs directly into a SATA connector to act as a hard drive. It is small enough to not interfere with other onboard connectors and it is low-profile enough to not create height restrictions for system enclosures. This is the horizontal version that comes in two types: 1. type A, notch/clip faces under the flash module and 2. type B, notch/clip faces away from the flash module.

With no moving parts, wide temperature range, and R/W endurance of 2,000,000 times, the SFMH20I increases the range of environments and climate conditions your system can withstand. The wear-leveling algorithm extends the module's lifetime and performance by evenly spreading the media usage across all pages in the flash. Also, the SFMH20I supports most operating systems, including Windows XPe and Linux.
