AOpen i965GMt-LA* mainboard supports Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile (Merom & Penryn) and Celeron M (Merom) Socket P processors. Designed around Intel's GM965 chipset, this board offers Intel's premium GMA X3100 technology, which boasts enhanced 3D graphics performance and Intel's Clear Video Technology. It has dual channel memory support for up to 3.25 GB of recognizable RAM, Gb LAN, 2 SATA (3 Gb/sec.) connectors, and DVI. The i965GMt-LA is ideal for systems serving as home media centers and/or being used in image processing applications.

To download the latest BIOS that supports the new Penryn processors, click here. You must use a compatible processor first (Socket P Merom Core), update the BIOS, and then install the new processor. Our current inventory already comes with the latest BIOS, R1.07 that includes support for the Penryn processors.
