The FD25A 6000 series is the latest high-performance, embedded flash disk drive offered from Emphase. Having an improved data transfer rate of 60 MB/sec. (read), 40 MB/sec. (write), the FD25A is well suited for high-performance, industrial applications. The FD25A 6000 is excellent for use in solid state configurations, offering new and expanded functionality such as fast data transfer rate, wear-leveling algorithm, and R/W endurance of 2,000,000 times. This flash disk can be plugged into a standard IDE connector to replace an HDD.

Emphase flash memory uses single-level cell (SLC) chips. SLC chips offer superior durability, energy efficiency, and performance over consumer-based flash memory using multi-level cell (MLC) chips. Read more here.
