The VIA EPIA-P700 Pico-ITX mainboard is a compact, embedded platform that has the ability for expansion. Measuring only 10 cm by 7.2 cm and having no back panel I/O, it is optimized for use in custom enclosures that can benefit from a small footprint mainboard. It is designed around VIA's advanced, integrated VX700 media chipset, which provides premium graphics output for a range of image processing applications. The PX has onboard pin headers offering 4 USB ports, DVI, RS-232 COM, Gb LAN, VGA, and audio. The pin headers correspond to 2 I/O boards that connect to the board and provide I/O ports. The EPIA-P700 introduces a new realm of small form factor computing, supplying all the features of a standard Mini-ITX board in half the size.
