As the smallest industrial grade storage device boasting a SATA interface, the SATA Flash Module S3 packs a punch, providing up to 32 GB of SLC solid state flash memory in a package weighing just 10 grams. Ideal for the embedded system market, Emphase SATA Flash Module S3 is able to compete with full size SSDs at one tenth the size.

Utilizing its small form factor, SATA Flash Module S3 can plug directly into the SATA port on any mainboard. With additional mounting and cabling systems available, clients can integrate multiple drives at a time, add a dedicated drive for OS or other application requirements, run RAID across multiple drives, or pack additional capacity into the smallest of form factors.

Emphase flash memory uses single-level cell (SLC) chips. SLC chips offer superior durability, energy efficiency, and performance over consumer-based flash memory using multi-level cell (MLC) chips. Read more here.
