The CI-82500 is designed to connect industrial serial devices to the Internet. It allows your application software to connect to an RS-232/422/485 device such as PLCs, meters, sensors or switches from anywhere on a LAN or the Internet. The CI-82500 has 7 general purpose I/O pins to provide extra digital I/O control signals over the network as well.
