Transcend's 8GSSD25S-SI is a lightweight, rugged, wide-temperature storage solution offering SATA 3 Gb/sec. These drives are ideal for industrial applications requiring wider temperature tolerance and vibration resistance than typical HDDs can provide. These drives also feature built-in static and dynamic wear leveling, ECC, and Trim support for reliable, long-term performance.

This Transcend drive uses single-level cell (SLC) flash chips. SLC chips offer superior durability, energy efficiency, and performance over consumer-based flash memory using multi-level cell (MLC) chips. Read more here.
