The advanced Ivy Bridge processing architecture is also powerful enough to tackle the most demanding mobile surveillance applications for law enforcement, trucking, or railways. Equipped with an intelligent automotive power supply, this system can handle variable voltage input and ensure the reliability of the hardware by shutting it down gently when the vehicle is turned off without draining the battery. Configured with 16 GB of wide-temperature memory and a 60 GB SSD with Advanced Host Power Loss protection, the TRS-Nuvis3304V provides a solid state solution for any mobile application.
The TRS-Nuvis3304V comes equipped for just about any eventuality, with multiple DVI ports, VGA, 8 USB (including 4 USB 3.0 ports), dual COM, and 5 Gb Ethernet ports, four of which support Power over Ethernet (PoE) 802.3af for 15.4 watts per port in addition to data. The PoE functionality is ideal for use with Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras in surveillance applications where cabling must be kept to a minimum in space-constrained vehicles. Additionally, this system offers 2 PCIe Mini Card slots, as well as a PCIe x16 slot in the removable expansion bay that can be swapped with a PCI version in the options above.
