NEW PRODUCT: IEI Fanless Panel PC with AMD Geode LX800
Logic Supply offers two IEI, fanless panel PCs that are self-contained, wall-mountable systems. Both have weatherproof touchscreen panels, dual LAN ports, and wireless interfaces—providing versatile use and reliable operation in a broad gamut of environments. The 8.4" AFL-08A-LX has a bootable CompactFlash slot, making it an ideal solid-state system for industrial applications requiring long-lasting and rugged service. The 12.1" AFL-12A-LX has a wider screen and space for a 2.5" hard drive; it is well suited for consumer-based, self-service applications, such as POS terminals. NEW PRODUCT: VIA EPIA NX Series Nano-ITX Mainboard
The new VIA EPIA NX is a specialized Nano-ITX mainboard combining high-end performance with practical use. It is designed for custom enclosures and embedded applications. The mainboard features extensive, onboard I/O, including dual channel support for two LVDS panels; a back panel LAN port; Mini PCI interface; and t he integrated VIA CX700M media chipset. Sorting Out Intel's Processors
Intel has been adding new, advanced processors to its catalogue while eliminating outdated ones. This has benefited the embedded computing market; however, the influx of processors has generated some confusion. Compatibility issues have surfaced, compounded by an overlapping naming scheme. Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile Line of Mainboards
Logic Supply offers a full line of Core 2 Duo Mobile (Merom) Mini-ITX mainboards and systems. These are compatible with Intel's advanced 945G chipset, which features GMA 950 technology and support for the 667MHz Front Side Bus. Even though the earlier Pentium 4, Pentium M, and Celeron M processors are being phased out, Logic Supply will continue to provide sales and service for these products.
