2.5" Commercial MLC Solid State Drives (SSDs) provide high-speed, flash-based storage while extending the lifetime of a system. Bootable SSDs are an excellent alternative to hard drives, especially within industrial environments or fanless systems. The 2.5" Commercial SSDs are installed in the same manner as a serial ATA notebook style hard drive. This high performance MLC flash storage medium can accommodate SATA interface with support for S.M.A.R.T., NCQ, and TRIM commands.
