Description

Logic Supply, Inc. is seeking a qualified and creative problem solver to join our engineering team. The Software Developer position is responsible for:

  • Maintaining and developing a wide range of internal and external web-based applications

  • Working with teammates to troubleshoot various software issues

  • Maintaining local and remote Ubuntu Linux servers

  • Knowledge of the Logic Supply product line and internal processes

 

RequiredTechnical Skills, Education & Experience:

  • Experience with Web and Application Development, Distributed Systems, and Relational Databases

  • Experience with PHP-based web development including the Magento eCommerce platform

  • Experience with Python, MySQL, Javascript, .Net, Unix/Linux; Windows environment is a plus

  • Experience with development tools such as version control and bug tracking/ticketing systems

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Equivalent and 1-2 years relevant experience

  • The ability to pick up on new processes quickly and efficiently is a must

 

Successful candidates will be creative analytical thinkers, have strong project management skills, excel in a self-directed work environment, and have the ability to elicit information from internal stakeholders to determine the actual needs and scope of work of software development requests. The position requires attention to detail, ability to work effectively in a small team environment, and a strong desire to be part of a small, but rapidly growing business. The ideal candidate must demonstrate their ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities as is necessary to adjust to internal and externally driven demands, a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. Fluent communication and writing abilities are strong assets of qualified candidates.
