• Identification of and troubleshooting hardware incompatibilities
• Quality control of individual computer systems and ensuring consistency and proper documentation for volume orders
• Installation of both Windows and open-source operating systems onto pre-built computers
• Understanding the components of a computer and how each part works
• Identification of best layouts and configurations for the internal components of a computer system
• Providing hardware support to customers

The Candidate

The ideal Technical Sales candidate is a creative problem solver, critical thinker, and detail-oriented person. He/she has experience with computer hardware, is careful and precise when handling equipment, has good design skills, and can communicate effectively with others.
