Everything Happens in Threes

They say everything happens in threes. In keeping with the tradition, we recently launched three new products from our new engineering arm LGX Systems.

As the company has been growing, we have been building up our product design and engineering team in the process. This growth has allowed us to expand our range of services and stretch our arms in evolving our most innovative products.

Check out the trio of new LGX products below and you’ll see why we’re so excited. They marry engineering excellence with our deep experience in off the shelf hardware.

  • MC500 - The Atom-MC500 is an incredibly compact and versatile system. Based around the energy-efficient Intel Atom platform, it is ideal for light-duty embedded applications. Enclosed in the sturdy and easy-to-assemble MC500 chassis designed by LGX, the Atom-MC500 is easy to customize; its modular faceplate design allows for the installation of an LCD display for headless nodes, as well as easy custom branding via screen printing and pad stamping. The MC500 includes mounting brackets and features a Kensington lock mount hole for added security
  • MK150 – 1.5U rackmount enclosure is designed to offer maximum versatility in an expandable, modular chassis. It can be easily customized to accommodate one or two Mini-ITX mainboards or four Thin Mini-ITX mainboards (via the AKQB-MK15Xquad-board kit), and the interchangeable faceplates make it easy to tailor the case to different application needs. The MK150 is ideal for RAID arrays or other storage-intensive data collection applications.
  • CT100 – represents a ready-made, economical mounting solution for larger enclosures. Rather than custom mounting the individual components directly to the enclosure, the CT100 offers a range of mounting provisions and requires only a DIN rail or screw studs for attachment of the plate to the enclosure. And because it secures the system without a full enclosure, technicians have continued, convenient access to the system and its components for easily swapping parts.

As the company continues to grow, we are able to customize off-the-shelf solutions to fit any application.

About Katrina VanTyne
My fascination with computers began when I got my first real job with a real desk and a Wang computer. The screen was actually black with green characters. As a life-long writer, I was thrilled because I could type faster than I could write. Technology has obviously evolved since then and continues to evolve at a rapid pace. We’ve come a long way since the Wang computer and I am looking forward to being a part of where we're going.
