Chris Thielen sent me an updated version of his patch for the VT6655 driver to be used with Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron). It can be downloaded here:

i installed ubuntu 8.04 on my amd 64 Athlon x2 machine. but the system cannot detect my nvidia graphics drivers. It gives me information about linux restricted modules, and also the amd processer is not supported.
I’m really getting frustrated, because i seriously want to learn how to use linux
